2017-2018 Jean Monnet and European Horizons Travel Grants
Application Deadline: Friday, December 1, 2017
The Jean Monnet European Union Center of Excellence at UW-Madison will offer two research travel awards for 2017-2018. The purpose of the awards is to support UW-Madison students who are travelling for research related to personal scholarship on contemporary European Union or European Studies topics. Award recipients may present original scholarship at a conference.
Any continuing undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison may apply for these awards. Affiliation with the European Horizons group is not mandatory but is a positive factor in applicant consideration.
The Jean Monnet European Union Center of Excellence will partially cover airfare and per diem expenses for up to ten days. Accommodations may also be covered. Costs of travel insurance, airfare beyond the European Union allowance, ground transportation from the airport to your hotel, and incidentals are not covered. Participants may extend their trip at their own expense. Airfare must be booked through the Concur system (per State of Wisconsin policy).
