The School of International Service invites you to join United States Special Envoy and former US Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) in an online discussion with SIS Professor Jordan Tama on how the results of the 2018 midterm election might affect foreign policy in 2019. Senator Feingold will answer questions from the online audience.
Senator Feingold is best known for his work alongside Senator John McCain on the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act of 2002, as the only senator to initially vote against the Patriot Act, and as a veteran of more than 30 years of civil service. Feingold’s insight will be an invaluable opportunity for our community to listen in and pose their own questions.
Professor Jordan Tama is an Associate Professor at SIS, specializing in the politics, processes, and institutions of U.S. foreign and national security policymaking. He is the author of Terrorism and National Security Reform: How Commissions Can Drive Change During Crises and co-editor of the recent volume, Rivals for Power: Presidential-Congressional Relations. Professor Tama will moderate the conversation.
SIS Events will email the webinar link to all participants closer to the event date. We look forward to your participation in this
conversation!
