Russell Hittinger, “Who Belongs to Whom: Lessons Learned from the Concordat of Worms”

The Center for the Study of Liberal Democracy is hosting Professor Russell Hittinger (University of Tulsa) for a lecture on the 899th anniversary of the Concordat of Worms. The Concordat created a division between church and state power that altered Western culture. Professor Hittinger will discuss lessons learned from 1122 in relation to present problems of authority.
