German Day at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is now in its 31st year. Typically anywhere from 500 to 700 students taking German at middle schools and high schools from across the state give their best effort and have fun competing in spelling, poetry, Pictionary, charades, skits, music, and poster events. Each year features a different theme, which is reflected in students’ skits and posters.

email list. All schools must register to attend. Registration is free. Schools limited to 25 students each.
