Dr. Michaela Hailbronner is a Professor in Public Law and Human Rights at Justus Liebig University, Giessen. She holds LL.M. and J.S.D.degrees from YaleUniversity and previously worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law at Heidelberg and at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Her doctoral dissertation on German constitutionalism from a comparative perspective titled Traditions and Transformations: The Rise of German Constitutionalism by Oxford University Press and in a paper that won the I.CON Inaugural Best Paper Award in 2015.
