Acclaimed Danish author, Jussi Adler-Olsen will give a brief talk and answer questions about his Department Q series, starring Detective Carl Mørck. In 2007, Adler-Olsen began his highly successful series, and today he has written 8 out of the 10 books planned. The series discusses contemporary issues in Denmark and the world, feminism, police work, politics, culture, and human interaction at many levels. The book he will focus on is the first in the series, The Keeper of Lost Causes, whose themes comprise revenge, guilt, and redemption.
