Transatlantic German Studies: A Virtual Roundtable
December 5 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Sponsored by the Center for German and European Studies.
With reference to three foundational articles and upcoming contributions to a special issue of Monathefte, the participants will consider the following questions:
How has the lens of the transatlantic changed since the start of the 21st century? How, for example, has the increased prominence of black German studies and a focus on migration broadened the scope of ‘the transatlantic’ beyond North America and the U.S. to include South America, the Carribean, and other underlooked constituencies?
