Transatlantic German Studies: A Virtual Roundtable
December 5, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
Sponsored by the Center for German and European Studies.
Please register for this virtual event using the embedded form at the bottom of the page.
With reference to three foundational articles and upcoming contributions to a special issue of Monathefte, the participants will consider the following questions:
How has the lens of the transatlantic changed since the start of the 21st century? How, for example, has the increased prominence of black German studies and a focus on migration broadened the scope of ‘the transatlantic’ beyond North America and the U.S. to include South America, the Caribbean, and other underlooked constituencies?
